Loving Jesus. Loving Others.
All with a little bit of quirkiness.
If you’ve known me for any length of time, you probably know that I love Jesus, coffee, the Oregon Coast, and my dog Nash. I used to be a school counselor. And I used to be married.
You may also know that I have silly quirks, like doing a little dance when I love my food or talking during movies because I’m trying to predict what’s about to happen (I know it’s annoying to some, so I’m working on that one)!
When you peel back a few layers, you’ll also find that I’m reflective, love others deeply, fight for the underdog, am an overthinker, and can be quite messy as I grow towards becoming the person God created and called me to be.
[Also…I hate doing dishes and will avoid them at all costs.]
In March 2025, I belive God started leading me into a new chapter.
I’ve always loved helping people. During my teenage years and early adulthood, I participated in mission trips with my church. After high school, I toured with a Christian singing group for a few months, telling others about Jesus. At one point, I remember thinking, 'I wonder if I should get involved with one of those youth mission organizations instead of college.’ However, my choices led me elsewhere.
Now, with the flexibility of running my own business and being single, I believe God is giving me a gift: The gift of being able to serve in any place, at any time. I want to use this opportunity, for however long it might be, to serve Him and to love others.
There are lots of details that have come together for me to be at this point…I’ll be sharing those through my blogs.
So, I’m taking the next step! I’m going on a mission trip to the Philippines.
In November, I’ll be traveling with other women from my home church to work with a sister church in Baguio. But, I honestly don’t think this will be the end. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of what it looks like for me to live on mission with Jesus.
And this website is my solution to the traditional support letter I’d send!
