Almost Time to Take Off!

You guys… I can’t believe it’s here! Soon I’ll be in the Philippines and I already know that I can’t wait to share with you what God does on this trip. Will you pray for these things specifically?

• The health of the team. We have a couple of team members not feeling well. Pray for healing and strength.

• For words to share during our Elderly Night outreach ministry. I have the privilege of encouraging senior citizens from the church and community. I’ll be speaking to both believers and non-believers. Pray the Holy Spirit would guide my thoughts and words as I write.

• That I remain focused on and open to all God is doing. Pray that I can be bold in faith, being obedient to whatever God asks of me. There is a Hebrew word, Hineni. It translates into English as Here I am. But it’s deeper than that. It means, Whatever you are about to ask, I am already in agreement with. I want that to be my response when God speaks. Whatever He is about to ask, I am already in agreement with and will obey.

• Pray we get through customs smoothly.

• Pray that any barriers standing in the way of women attending the conference are demolished. Pray that hearts would be encouraged, refreshed, and renewed during this time.

• Pray for opportunities to share God’s love and truth—for divine appointments that change the trajectory of people’s eternal life.
